What in the World?

It’s a daily task, unwrapping the single packaged item, determining if it can be recycled or reused or restored, throwing away the left overs. Letting go of the old sweater, the torn T shirt, colored paper, the clear plastic wrap, shiny silver bag, sorting bits and pieces now not what they were.
One day as I gleaned my fabric stash there it was - a big ball of tulle, ribbon, left over bits of beauty, gently held together. An orb, a sphere tied up with string, a beaded curtain, a threshold, an entrance into it’s own doorless room.
What in the world? Well, there is stuff and a way of catching hold and reforming. There is just what it is and then oh, what is it now? It’s an approach in wonder and joy to this full of uselessness world.
