Luminous Grids
Lisa’s work explores the rhythm of deconstruction, configuration, and spiritual contemplation. In this series, Lisa gives new life to older studio works by meticulously cutting and tearing them into hundreds of smaller, individual squares. By organizing these fragments into a precise grid, she weaves a new narrative out of what was once discarded. The overlapping textures play with light and opacity, creating a visual depth that invites quiet reflection. For Lisa, the process of cutting, dyeing, and reassembling are deeply meditative, transforming physical paper into a quiet site of devotion.
